Dr. Kevin Coughlin

Dr. Kevin Coughlin, CEO of Ascent Dental Care LLC, Ascent Dental Solutions, and Ascent Laser Aesthetics, has expanded his practices from 1 to 14 over his 41-year career. A distinguished dentist with degrees from Tufts University and an MBA from Western New England University, Dr. Coughlin holds both a Fellowship and Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implantology. He practices at Baystate Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, and Mary Lane Hospital, and has taught at Tufts University.

Dr. Coughlin is an expert on the business of dentistry, offering coaching and consulting to dentists nationwide on building successful practices. He has authored two books on the intersection of dentistry and business: Your Tooth is Killing Me and Just Enough to Be Great in Your Dental Profession. With over 100 podcasts and webinars, he shares his extensive knowledge and experience in dental practice management.
