This presentation aims to create a dental hygiene protocol based on current research and recommendations that dental professionals can follow when treating patients with dental implants and implant-supported fixed full-arch restorations.

 

After the presentation:

  • The participant will learn a recommended protocol for assessing and monitoring the health of dental implants, with an emphasis on fixed full-arch restorations.
  • The participant will learn about using the recommended armamentarium to provide peri-implant therapy for dental implants and implant-supported fixed full arch restorations.
  • The participant will become knowledgeable about insurance coding regarding dental cleaning of dental implants, specifically fixed full arch restorations.
  • The participant will receive recommended in-office recall maintenance schedules for patients with fixed full arch restorations, learn the necessary care to be done by the patient at home, and understand why this is necessary for the health and longevity of their dental implants.
